Michael Allio

Michael, a FIX co-founder, is a strategy and innovation specialist, offering over 25 years of diverse operating, entrepreneurial, and strategy consulting experience.   His operating experience includes serving as the pioneering Deputy Director of Strategy at the Gates Foundation, where he amplified the impact of a $1B grant portfolio. He served as Chairman and CEO of a development-stage biotech firm, Director and Principal of a design-driven manufacturing start-up, and as a marketing executive at a multinational consumer products firm. He has forged significant strategic partnerships with firms like Chrysler, GM, Black & Decker, and Home Depot. Several of the start-ups he has led have achieved successful exits. As a strategy consultant, he has delivered services to a wide range of clients, spanning the private, public, and philanthropic sectors. He has worked with dozens of startups, entrepreneurs, and angel and private equity funders to unlock value and catalyze profitable growth.  Mr. Allio sits on a number of Boards, and is a Harvard graduate. 

At The FIX, Michael’s primary focus is on product, strategy, and design development for The FIX and FIX partner programs.
